Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cederique De Kepper got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Cederique De Kepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Grebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lieven Omblets hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Levi Audenaert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Purple Talents fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jonas Wehren kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. International Thunders's Mario Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lieven Omblets in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Gütermann. After having played for 19 minutes, Remco Van Der Elst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Talents's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remco Van Der Elst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinard Waterloos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Cederique De Kepper came free, but Mario Grebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cederique De Kepper in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Grebe saved International Thunders from getting behind. Michael Campens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Schlager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, Purple Talents's Remco Van Der Elst made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Grebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger De Coster during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Birger De Coster. When Purple Talents's Lieven Omblets in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye International Thunders's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goalkeeper Michael Campens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Wehren. Dennis Bartl hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Purple Talents's Remco Van Der Elst got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Purple Talents made a substitution. Jan-Simon Decoster replaced Lieven Omblets. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Emiel Reijniers hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Remco Van Der Elst notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of International Thunders's Mario Grebe. Mario Grebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. International Thunders's Mario Grebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save International Thunders from getting a goal against them. International Thunders's Thomas Gütermann got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Thomas Gütermann off the ground. Jan-Simon Decosters short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Mario Grebe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tobi Pircher's late challenge caught a Purple Talents's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobi Pircher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Schlager to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Simon Decosters short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Mario Grebe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Simon Decoster in the 84th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Mario Grebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Oehlert came free, but Michael Campens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Purple Talents would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
