Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kevin Wanger kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Nigel Willemse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luka Bjorg charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luka Bjorg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. René van Hintum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Motala AIF booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrie Höhenstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Hilti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nigel Willemse went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Nico-Jan Roeles suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Luka Bjorg got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Luka Bjorg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nigel Willemse struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gaston Hilti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FFC Merainies 03. FFC Merainies 03's Fabrice Bemmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Nigel Willemse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Hilti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Ronny Deinse fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FFC Merainies 03's protests and gave Ronny Deinse a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Deinse. The Motala AIF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FFC Merainies 03 were winning 0-3.

Bruno Demirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fabrice Bemmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrice Bemmel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beat Dietz's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute, Gerrie Höhenstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Seemann to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Hilti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Speelman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Nigel Willemse made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Hilti. Motala AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 86 minutes, Nigel Willemse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nigel Willemse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, FFC Merainies 03's Bart Speelman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The FFC Merainies 03 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
