Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Richárd Bodonyi started the match with the kick off. Jonas Wehren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Béla Borbély made a huge save. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Dósa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jan-Niclas Witty hit a great ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind International Thunders's goalkeeper Mario Grebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Richárd Bodonyi got a free kick in the 17th minute. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Valencia CF Mindszent's Richárd Bodonyi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tobi Pircher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Béla Borbély having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Zsolt Zarka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobi Pircher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Béla Borbély tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Zsolt Zarka got a free kick in the 34th minute. International Thunders's Jonas Wehren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Béla Borbély but with some difficulty. Mario Grebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richárd Bodonyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uwe Marder to maneuver through the defense. Richárd Veress hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobi Pircher was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ákos Medve during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Valencia CF Mindszent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Medve to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Béla Borbély, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Richárd Bodonyi took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Mario Grebe to make any attempt to save it. International Thunders's Mario Grebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richárd Bodonyi in the 75th minute of play. Mario Grebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richárd Bodonyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's János Dósa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 83 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's Richárd Bodonyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Grebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zsolt Zarka fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valencia CF Mindszent's protests and gave Zsolt Zarka a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Zsolt Zarka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, International Thunders's Thomas Gütermann seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomas Gütermann the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of International Thunders protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomas Gütermann had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in International Thunders fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The Valencia CF Mindszent supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valencia CF Mindszent would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
