Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) FC Draconia's Alfons Ceulemans started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richárd Veress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Van Hooveldt having to interfere. If Zsolt Almási had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobby Preuveneer hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Richárd Bodonyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mike Van Hooveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Dósa in the 39th minute of the match. Zsolt Almási hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

János Dósa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mike Van Hooveldt. Mike Van Hooveldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
