The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaise Näf got free with Klaas de Hoop in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olympique Fribourg's Chris Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert Zethof in the 16th minute of play. When Blaise Näf fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Fribourg's protests and gave Blaise Näf a yellow card for diving instead. Steve Hoogendorp kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Blaise Näf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Mosk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Vrieling to maneuver through the defense. Klaas de Hoop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Bianco, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Chris Lang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaise Näf in the 66th minute of play forced Mosk's goalkeeper Klaas de Hoop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert Zethof could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Chris Lang made a huge save. Reinhard Robbermond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Chris Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepp Gerig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mosk's Fabiën van der Wiel was substituted for Klaas Jan de Jong. Chris Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Vrieling, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinhard Robbermond during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Reinhard Robbermond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Lang was a little too slow when Marcel Vrieling got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Mosk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olympique Fribourg.
