The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Каблешково getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Levent Popisakov hit a great ball. Vencho Gazibarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Stühling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Tihomir Zhabinski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mijdrecht Maffia's Emiel van der Gun. Emiel van der Gun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tzeno Orozov hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Mijdrecht Maffia's Emiel van der Gun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levent Popisakov in the 12th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Tihomir Zhabinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Каблешково and the Mijdrecht Maffia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Каблешково getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tihomir Zhabinski hit a great ball. Emiel van der Gun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tihomir Zhabinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mijdrecht Maffia's Emiel van der Gun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tihomir Zhabinski in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Levent Popisakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiel van der Gun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when Каблешково was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzanko Vrabchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mijdrecht Maffia's Toni Stühling spiked a well placed long shot which went just inside the left pole, with no chance at all for Vencho Gazibarov. Resulting in a 1-1 score after 26 minutes. Emiel van der Gun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elenko Palikov in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Elenko Palikov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiel van der Gun. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elenko Palikov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tihomir Zhabinski in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiel van der Gun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Tihomir Zhabinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Levent Popisakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiel van der Gun came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Каблешково's Elenko Palikov. But to his dismay, Elenko Palikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half Каблешково were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Stühling was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Toni Stühling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vencho Gazibarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Elenko Palikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiel van der Gun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Popisakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Mijdrecht Maffia's Emiel van der Gun got control of the ball when Aleko Milanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Douwe van den Bergh made a precise shot to the right of Vencho Gazibarov. Каблешково's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Emiel van der Gun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Levent Popisakov's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Emiel van der Gun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mircho Chakalov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 79 minute of play. Mijdrecht Maffia's Emiel van der Gun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tihomir Zhabinski in the 82nd minute of play. Emiel van der Gun was a little too slow when Tihomir Zhabinski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-6. Каблешково's Tihomir Zhabinski got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
