Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiziano Gamache took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Lugano's Max Sevier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Kamps in the 2nd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Ferdi Merenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Max Sevier. FC Lugano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdi Merenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Albertus FC's Ger Tollenaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Diederich in the 13th minute of play. Odysseus De Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ger Tollenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza in the 17th minute of play. FC Lugano's Max Sevier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Merenga in the 18th minute of play. If Odysseus De Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ger Tollenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ger Tollenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Diederich in the 26th minute of play. Ferdi Merenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Sevier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Albertus FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after FC Lugano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gert Hebert took the corner. After taking down the ball on Albertus FC's corner Kurt Hartlief fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Max Sevier quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ferdi Merenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albertus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Merenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Sevier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yorrick Zwaanswijk's late challenge caught a FC Lugano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yorrick Zwaanswijk helped the player get up and apologised. Ger Tollenaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Diederich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Merenga came free, but Max Sevier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Odysseus De Souza hit a great ball. Albertus FC made a substitution. Daniël Zomer replaced Antoon Ponk. FC Lugano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Yorrick Zwaanswijk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Sevier skillfully saved the ball. Max Sevier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits Platvoet in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Albertus FC booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulric Donsante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frits Platvoet hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Buser came free, but Ger Tollenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Platvoet struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Max Sevier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. When Albertus FC's Frits Platvoet in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Lugano's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Ulric Donsante got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Kamps in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Lugano's goalkeeper Max Sevier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ger Tollenaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulric Donsante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Ulric Donsante lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ger Tollenaar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulric Donsante got free with Ger Tollenaar in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Lugano players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Albertus FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
