A nice corner shot did that Guido Emennegger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benoit Van Heurick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matteo Gartenmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benoit Van Heurick having to interfere. Benoit Van Heurick made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Guido Emennegger sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Zero Gravity's goalkeeper Benoit Van Heurick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odysseus De Souza. In the 26th match minute, Zero Gravity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Van Linthoudt to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiziano Gamache got free with Benoit Van Heurick in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiziano Gamache in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benoit Van Heurick, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tiziano Gamache hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jullian Van Castel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benoit Van Heurick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Waechter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Guido Emennegger got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Benoit Van Heurick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiziano Gamache, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. But to his dismay, Andrez Dams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when Zero Gravity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jullian Van Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiziano Gamache in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benoit Van Heurick saved Zero Gravity from getting behind. Matt Uyterhelcht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Andrez Dams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Sevier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.
