Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rogério Neves kicked off to start the match. If Valdemar de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Silva in the 6th minute of play. Valdemar Siqueira hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Chico de Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Arantes. Resplendor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chico de Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Resplendor's Enéas Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Brodel in the 16th minute of play. Enéas Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Resplendor defense, Wágner Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Arantes. The Resplendor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Arantes should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Chico de Azevedo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Resplendor's Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Chico de Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danone CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Silva in the 41st minute of play forced Resplendor's goalkeeper Enéas Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Resplendor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson de Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Brodel in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Chico de Azevedo came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Brodel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enéas Arantes came out and tried to block the shot, but Wágner Brodel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Chico de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Magalhães got free with Enéas Arantes in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 62 minutes, Dudu Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danone CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Azevedo in the 64th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Wágner Brodel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Azevedo in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Eliseu Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play, Danone CC's Toninho Magalhães made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Danone CC's Chico de Azevedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Toninho Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Arantes having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Brodel got free with Enéas Arantes in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Chico de Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enéas Arantes. That made the score 0-8 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Danone CC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Resplendor throughout the match.
