After some careless play in the Bandeca FC defense, Wágner Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléberson Soeiro. The Bandeca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléberson Soeiro should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Banders during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Banders to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bandeca FC booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Tiago Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Ortiz in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz da Cunha saved Danone CC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Marquez in the 57th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Umberto Rosa replaced Alfredo Magalhães. In the 70th minute of the match Flávio Arósio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luiz da Cunha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Bandeca FC booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 77th minute of play.
