After 6 played minutes New Miran FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Damião. 11 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Brodel came free, but Márcio Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 13 minutes on the clock, Zeca Meirelles commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Zeca Meirelles hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute João Francisco Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Lúcio Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Luiz da Cunha, 2-0. José Carlos Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz da Cunha having to interfere. The supporters of Danone CC booed when New Miran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Barros came free, but Márcio Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Christian Viana hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Válter Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the New Miran FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Mazza couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Lúcio Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pedro Luiz da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leopoldo Andrade's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, New Miran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Danone CC's Pedro Luiz da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Leal in the 68th minute of play. José Carlos Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pedro Luiz da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of New Miran FC booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes in the game, João Francisco Barros fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Márcio Mendes having to interfere. Lúcio Leal scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luiz da Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luiz da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Leal in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New Miran FC had won after a very even match.
