Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lúcio Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as New Miran FC's Válter Mazza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enéas Arantes. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Resplendor's Celso Porto got a free kick in the 10th minute. José Carlos Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Resplendor booed when New Miran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Teixeira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Márcio Mendes. New Miran FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. New Miran FC's Márcio Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Neves in the 15th minute of play. When Rogério Neves came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Resplendor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Neves couldn't finish the play. Enéas Arantes was a little too slow when José Carlos Travassos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. After 26 minutes, Rogério Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resplendor and the New Miran FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Resplendor's Rogério Neves got a free kick in the 26th minute. Válter Mazza took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. José Carlos Travassos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Enéas Arantes 32 minutes into the match. Resplendor's Enéas Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Leal in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Resplendor defense, José Carlos Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Arantes. The Resplendor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Arantes should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogério Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Mazza in the 54th minute of play forced Resplendor's goalkeeper Enéas Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Resplendor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Neves to maneuver through the defense. Válter Mazza took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. A collision led to New Miran FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leopoldo Andrade hit a great ball. Rogério Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Mendes having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Lúcio Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Leal in the 77th minute of the match. Resplendor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Enéas Arantes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by New Miran FC's Válter Mazza. But to his dismay, Válter Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Leal in the 92nd minute of the match. New Miran FC's Márcio Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Neves in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Valdemar de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
