Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gláuber Veloso kicked off to start the match. Rony Dantas's late challenge caught a Noroeste Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Nunes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgard Rossi came out and tried to block the shot, but Rômulo Nunes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Gláuber Veloso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgard Rossi, passed just outside the right post. Lidice's Edgard Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Pirani in the 11th minute of play. Frédson Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Adhemar Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Lidice's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Gláuber Veloso scored to the left of an out of position Edgard Rossi, making the score, 2-0. If Régis Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Gláuber Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noroeste Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Renato Pinho during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgard Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lidice's goalkeeper Edgard Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vivaldo Pontes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Edgard Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes, Maurício da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noroeste Paulista and the Lidice players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Maurício da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Paulo Renato Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Veloso in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Lidice got a freekick which was hit by Afonso de Queirós. Noroeste Paulista made a substitution. Alex Godoi replaced Gláuber Veloso. Serafim Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Alex Godoi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lidice's Edgard Rossi. Edgard Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Alex Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Rossi. Lidice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Alex Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Lidice's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Noroeste Paulista had won, even though Lidice had held more of the ball.
