Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Maria Coutinho started the match with the kick off. Miguel de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Santos having to interfere. After 22 minutes, José Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragões de Campo Grande and the Matungo Gaúcho players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Silva hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dário da Cunha's late challenge caught a Dragões de Campo Grande's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Dário da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matungo Gaúcho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when José Maria Coutinho scored to the left of an out of position Cido da Rocha, making the score, 1-0. Guga Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hugo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Dragões de Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Andrade. After 47 played minutes, Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matungo Gaúcho reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Guga Souza made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Coutinho came free, but Cido da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, José Maria Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragões de Campo Grande fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Miguel de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário da Cunha was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th match minute, Matungo Gaúcho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Matungo Gaúcho's Fernando Lara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomás Montenegro, made in the 71st minute of the game. After 72 minutes of play Dragões de Campo Grande's José Silva was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. José Silva hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Dragões de Campo Grande from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, José Maria Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragões de Campo Grande fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Víktor Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Miguel de Andrade scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
