After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Benjamim Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEREBAH FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PEREBAH FC reached it. Benjamim Freitas took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15thth minute of the game Vito de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Genílson de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Icoara Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEREBAH FC the free kick. Genílson de Queirós hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Penha came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Proença came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Icoara Football Club's Fabrício Rosa. But to his dismay, Fabrício Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valdo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caetano Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito de Sena's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Oscar de Azevedo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Amauri Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Lucas went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute, Diamantino Penha made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After 61 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Camargo. In the 61st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Valdo Lima hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Freitas in the 63rd minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar de Azevedo scored 4-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes, Egídio Lucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Icoara Football Club and the PEREBAH FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PEREBAH FC booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Freitas scored 5-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. PEREBAH FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icoara Football Club the free kick. Fabrício Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that PEREBAH FC were the better team. PEREBAH FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
