Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dário da Cunha started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Vito de Sena came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Cássio Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEREBAH FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ernani Arce scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Benjamim Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Matungo Gaúcho defense, Vito de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé de Senna. The Matungo Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé de Senna should have stopped the shot. When Afonso Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the PEREBAH FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Hermes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 25 minutes, Oscar de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEREBAH FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PEREBAH FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Breno Velloso scored to the left of an out of position Amauri Proença, making the score, 1-2. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 29 played minutes Matungo Gaúcho got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo de Lara. 33 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Freitas came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes, PEREBAH FC's Oscar de Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé de Senna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PEREBAH FC reached it. Zé de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Arce in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of PEREBAH FC booed when Matungo Gaúcho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 41st minute PEREBAH FC's Cássio Amorim took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Zé de Senna and thus the score was 1-3. Amauri Proença made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Toninho Vale sent off a good shot on target. Zé de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito de Sena to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Penha came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernani Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Zé de Senna made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Freitas came free, but Zé de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Vale in the 59th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gilson Moreno in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Matungo Gaúcho's Breno Velloso. Zé de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Freitas in the 64th minute of play. PEREBAH FC's Benjamim Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna got control of the ball when Ernani Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Diamantino Penha notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Matungo Gaúcho's Zé de Senna. Zé de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute Vito de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, PEREBAH FC's Vito de Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After a rather tough play, Matungo Gaúcho's Edmílson Nóbrega got a free kick in the 88th minute. Benjamim Freitas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamim Freitas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, PEREBAH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over PEREBAH FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Matungo Gaúcho throughout the match.
