Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hélio Braga got the match started through his kick off. When Dedé Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's protests and gave Dedé Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Dedé Rosa got a free kick in the 4th minute. Nelson Albuquerque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmiro Sanches's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's José Paulo França got a free kick in the 10th minute. Nelson Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Sidnei Fernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Nelson Albuquerque. Nelson Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes of play, EDI MZB's Belmiro Sanches made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Albuquerque was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Paulo França hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Belmiro Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrézinho Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Gerber made a huge save. Tarcisio Gerber came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Andrézinho Coelho. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 47 minutes into the game, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Andrézinho Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tarcisio Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Passos to make the kick off. Tarcisio Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Coelho in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Albuquerque was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Nelson Albuquerque was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilvan Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 68 minute of play. Nelson Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Hortêncio Passos sent off a good shot on target. When Gilvan Faria came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the EDI MZB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilvan Faria couldn't finish the play. EDI MZB made a substitution. Gláuber Marquez replaced Leonardo Leão. 90 minutes into the match, Gláuber Marquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelson Albuquerque, 2-5. In the 93rd minute, Hortêncio Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EDI MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. EDI MZB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
