Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Almeida in the 29th minute of play. Flying Dutch were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Icoara Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leandro Coutinho took the corner.
