A collision led to PEREBAH FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Diamantino Penha hit a great ball. Amauri Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Fred da Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amauri Proença, 1-0. When Edu Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Paulista's protests and gave Edu Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. Clube Atlético Paulista's Elano Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Freitas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 36th match minute, PEREBAH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Ernesto de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEREBAH FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Paulista the free kick. Clube Atlético Paulista made a substitution. Wilian Rosado replaced Fred da Silva. In the 42nd match minute, PEREBAH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Vito de Sena made the kick off in the second half. The Clube Atlético Paulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 81 minutes into the match, PEREBAH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Rosado came free, but Amauri Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PEREBAH FC's Thiago Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes PEREBAH FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Godoi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Couto in the 90th minute of play forced PEREBAH FC's goalkeeper Amauri Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the PEREBAH FC defense, Luís Fabiano Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Proença. The PEREBAH FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Proença should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute of the game, Wilian Rosado landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Ernesto de Godoi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played.
