Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dragões de Campo Grande's José Maria Coutinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Almeida. 12 minutes into the game, José Maria Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rômulo Camargo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Barra EC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Henrique Gomes hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Dragões de Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Barral. 27 minutes into the game, Henrique Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barra EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragões de Campo Grande the free kick. If José Maria Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís de Amaral in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Thomás Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Santos having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when André Luís de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Dragões de Campo Grande from getting a goal against them. Thomás Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Camargo having to interfere. The supporters of Dragões de Campo Grande booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Barra EC booed when Dragões de Campo Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís de Amaral in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Dragões de Campo Grande booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Camargo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragões de Campo Grande's Antônio Cosme. But to his dismay, Antônio Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Barra EC's zone, José Maria Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Camargo came out of the goal and José Maria Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria Coutinho in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Dragões de Campo Grande getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rafael Travassos hit a great ball. André Luís de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
