Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Egídio Lucas kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that André Luís de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Monteiro was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. André Luís de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Monteiro having to interfere. Valdo Lima hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thiago Zonta during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Zonta. After 18 minutes of play, Icoara Football Club's Egídio Lucas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egídio Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís de Amaral in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. Thiago Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Icoara Football Club's zone, Leonardo Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal and Leonardo Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egídio Lucas took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rômulo Camargo. Rômulo Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rômulo Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Lucas in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Leonardo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barra EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Valdo Lima's late challenge caught a Barra EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Lima helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Icoara Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Icoara Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when André Luís de Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Caetano Monteiro, making the score, 2-3. Fabrício Rosa succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Barra EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Icoara Football Club:s goal. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Icoara Football Club. Valdo Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rômulo Camargo. 4-3. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Léo Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barra EC's protests and gave Léo Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. Léo Prestes hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Genílson de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 100 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Santos. 101 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's Valdo Lima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Icoara Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
