Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgílio dos Santos started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nitra FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Arsenal MGK a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maurinho Aparecido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nitra FC's André Luiz Koehler. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgílio dos Santos in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luiz Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Durval Tasso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doni Meirelles. Durval Tasso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 12th match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Barral to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Nicolas Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal MGK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nitra FC the free kick. Augusto Bueno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Nitra FC's André Luiz Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Travassos in the 18th minute of play. Jorge Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio dos Santos's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Virgílio dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Rodrigo Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jorge Travassos sped through Nitra FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Luiz Koehler. 42 minutes into the match, Virgílio dos Santos notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Nitra FC's André Luiz Koehler. André Luiz Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Rodrigo Arantes got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes, Augusto Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nitra FC and the Arsenal MGK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arsenal MGK booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Arantes to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Travassos could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which André Luiz Koehler however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Arsenal MGK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Artur da Cunha hit a great ball. With his leg André Luiz Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Arsenal MGK's Jorge Travassos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 61 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Barral. Virgílio dos Santos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Arsenal MGK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Arsenal MGK's Jorge Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luiz Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. André Luiz Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Travassos in the 84th minute. Nicolas Vides struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. André Luiz Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal MGK. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jorge Travassos took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for André Luiz Koehler to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jorge Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal MGK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Fabinho Fontes got a free kick in the 96th minute. Arsenal MGK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
