Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dráuzio Saldanha kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Guarani Futebol Clube booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Fernandes in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Samuca Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Tavares. Guarani Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuca Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jacinto Tavares came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Internazionale-RS's Thiago Coutinho. But to his dismay, Thiago Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jacinto Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jacinto Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Guarani Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Acácio Arantes hit a great ball. With his leg Jacinto Tavares managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Internazionale-RS's Dráuzio Saldanha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Guarani Futebol Clube's Jacinto Tavares got control of the ball when Dráuzio Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Guarani Futebol Clube booed when Internazionale-RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Vitinho Secco got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rodolfo Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Tavares having to interfere. When Washington Costa fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internazionale-RS's protests and gave Washington Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Costa to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Internazionale-RS's Roberto Sena was substituted for Thiago Coutinho. Guarani Futebol Clube's Jacinto Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Sena in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Saldanha in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Saldanha in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Tavares saved Guarani Futebol Clube from getting behind. Roberto Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Dráuzio Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarani Futebol Clube's Jacinto Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Fernandes got free with Túlio Vale in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Túlio Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Fernandes in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Guarani Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diego Quintal. In the 65th minute, Vitinho Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Tavares was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Fernandes came free, but Túlio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guarani Futebol Clube's attentive Abel Torres managed to snatch the ball when Rodriguinho Ferraz made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Samuca Montenegro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Guga Paraíba hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Dráuzio Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale-RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráuzio Saldanha spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Guarani Futebol Clube's goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Guarani Futebol Clube's Egídio Fernandes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Túlio Vale. That made the score 4-1 after 95 minutes of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Internazionale-RS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guarani Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
