The Glorious FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deivid Botelho in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Deivid Botelho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Internazionale-RS's Túlio Vale did a great save. Geovanni Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Geovanni Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emerson de Amaral hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Saldanha in the 70th minute of play forced The Glorious FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Geovanni Correia made a huge save. After having played for 73 minutes, Manfredo Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Glorious FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Internazionale-RS's zone, Lauro Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Vale came out of the goal and Lauro Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovanni Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Correia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dráuzio Saldanha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 80 minute of play. In the 89th minute Wanderson Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Saldanha in the 93rd minute. The Glorious FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
