After 27 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Toledo. Dráuzio Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Rafa Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Montenegro in the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico de Lara got free with Túlio Vale in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Internazionale-RS's Rodolfo Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico de Lara got free with Túlio Vale in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Toledo came free, but Túlio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
