Taquaral Campineiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gildo Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Gildo Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, B-S-L's Otávio Sanches threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michel Velloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gildo Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Otávio Sanches made a huge save. João Adolfo Fontes succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Gildo Veiga made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 35thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Otávio Sanches would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. One of Taquaral Campineiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of B-S-L:s goal. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for B-S-L. Gildo Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Sanches having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Munhoz in the 91st minute of play forced Taquaral Campineiro's goalkeeper Otávio Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
