Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Adolfo Fontes started the match with the kick off. Luís Guilherme Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Silvério Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitório Simão went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th match minute, Noia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Noia's Hermínio Barros got control of the ball when Alexandre Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Vitório Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Noia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B-S-L the free kick. After 29 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Simão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Cardoso in the 36th minute of play forced B-S-L's goalkeeper Nilson de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Cardoso in the 39th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Fontes came free, but Hermínio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Vitório Correia put in a rough tackle. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for B-S-L! Nilson de Amorim had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Genílson Cardozo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dário Saldanha hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hermínio Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Guga Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, João Adolfo Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitório Simão was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute, Vitório Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Noia defense, Michel Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermínio Barros. The Noia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermínio Barros should have stopped the shot.
