Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Trigo got the match started through his kick off. Kaká Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pindobassu EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Váldson Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time Divina Comédia FC's players had a chance to rest. When Divina Comédia FC's Cristiano Furtado in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindobassu EC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Raimundo Velasco put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rogério Ceni. In the 18th match minute, Divina Comédia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Divina Comédia FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Pindobassu EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Váldson Lopes took the corner. After taking down the ball on Divina Comédia FC's corner Váldson Lopes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kaká Maia quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Pindobassu EC's José Carlos Prestes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Kaká Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Viana in the 33rd minute of play. Hortêncio Viana scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Viana to make the kick off. When Cristiano Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Divina Comédia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Furtado couldn't finish the play. Dorian Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Pindobassu EC's Miguel Trigo. But to his dismay, Miguel Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Furtado got free with Kaká Maia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valério Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Vladimir Motta notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandrinho Souto hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Pindobassu EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Divina Comédia FC for a fine match.
