Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mito Kroos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Dário Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mito Kroos got free with Oséas Neto in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Oséas Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Mito Kroos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oséas Neto, 1-0. Mito Kroos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Morabem EC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marcelo Cosme hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Morabem EC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Paiva. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Mito Kroos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oséas Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mito Kroos in the 23rd minute. Dário Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mito Kroos in the 26th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Oséas Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erlon Cristian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Oséas Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when Morabem EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Peres was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Morabem EC's Cido Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Nunes in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Brito. After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Dário Gomes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Oséas Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carlinhos da Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Tostão Nunes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 66th minute Humberto Pinheiro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tostão Nunes during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Morabem EC made a substitution. Cesinha Paraense replaced Humberto Pinheiro. Cido Peres was a little too slow when Dário Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 76th minute, Dé Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Cesinha Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oséas Neto skillfully saved the ball. Oséas Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cris Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Erlon Cristian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Oséas Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mito Kroos in the 91st minute of play. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing E.C 2 Janeiro RS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
