The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Morabem EC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Marcelo Cosme hit a great ball. União dos 7 FC's Renan Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cris Ronaldo in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mito Kroos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Furlan was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mito Kroos in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cido Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Duarte in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Morabem EC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Paiva. 28 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Duarte came free, but Cido Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morabem EC's Cido Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Couto in the 33rd minute of play. Cido Peres was a little too slow when Kaká Couto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Kroos came free, but Renan Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mito Kroos's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Renan Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mito Kroos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 56th minute Jeremias Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Kroos came free, but Renan Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mito Kroos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Furlan. Renan Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cido Peres came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by União dos 7 FC's Kaká Couto. But to his dismay, Kaká Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Renan Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cris Ronaldo in the 80th minute of the match. Kaká Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelo Cosme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renan Furlan. União dos 7 FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Couto came free, but Cido Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mito Kroos in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Morabem EC booed when União dos 7 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Marcelo Cosme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renan Furlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Oséias Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mito Kroos might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Furlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mito Kroos ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. União dos 7 FC had won after a very even match.
