Claudinei Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Melo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The wind increased when Raphael Vargas made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Jailson de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLU ES fc and the Socanelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deivid Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Paranaense having to make a save. After some careless play in the Socanelas FC defense, Thiago Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Oliveira. The Socanelas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Oliveira should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FLU ES fc getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexsandro Souto hit a great ball. Thiago Melo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Claudinei Oliveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Bittencourt came free, but Cristian Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Socanelas FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after FLU ES fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deivid Barral took the corner. After 76 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Baptista. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Sandro Veiga put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinei Oliveira. Claudinei Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95thth minute of the game Raphael Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLU ES fc's Cristian Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FLU ES fc played a much better game than Socanelas FC and deserved their victory. The Socanelas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
