Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Mito Kroos made the kick off and thus started the match. Daniel Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mito Kroos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tony de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Morabem EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marcelo Cosme hit a great ball. Cido Peres acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Váldson Prado. Manoel Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Alvi Verde getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gilvan Alagoano hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Morabem EC's Humberto Pinheiro tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Tony de Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cido Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Váldson Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Cido Peres made a huge save. Morabem EC's Cido Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Morabem EC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manoel Berger to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's Manoel Berger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cido Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match Váldson Prado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cido Peres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Morabem EC defense, Váldson Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Peres. The Morabem EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Peres should have stopped the shot. When Cesinha Vale fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morabem EC's protests and gave Cesinha Vale a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Morabem EC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cesinha Vale hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes, Alvi Verde's Váldson Prado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cido Peres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvi Verde reached it. Alvi Verde's Daniel Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Alvi Verde from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mito Kroos got free with Daniel Cearense in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morabem EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
