Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Pangarés FC's Carlos Augusto Linares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Teixeira in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldinho Perez saved Pangarés FC from getting behind. Osvaldinho Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho de Salles in the 12th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Sidnei Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pangarés FC's Osvaldinho Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sidnei Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Zézinho de Salles hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- defense, João Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder Lago. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder Lago should have stopped the shot. Elder Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Dias in the 30th minute. Osvaldinho Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Hoffmann in the 34th minute of play. Osvaldinho Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualter Queirós went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carlos Augusto Linares charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Augusto Linares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Augusto Linares hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Pangarés FC's Osvaldinho Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê de Moraes in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Gualter Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldinho Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidnei Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Gualter Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- and the Pangarés FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualter Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Elder Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Léo Quirino made a precise shot to the right of Elder Lago. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 71st minute of the match, Dedê de Moraes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldinho Perez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sidnei Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Osvaldinho Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Gil Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osvaldinho Perez. Gil Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pangarés FC's zone, Dedê de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldinho Perez came out of the goal and Dedê de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Christiano de Godoi hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Fernando Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Pangarés FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
