The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Brito got free with Marcelinho Matorin in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edu Siqueira in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Silva saved ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC from getting behind. In the 9th minute Angelo Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Durval Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marcelinho Matorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edu Siqueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexilhão F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 25th minute, Mexilhão F. C.'s João Francisco Mota fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Allan Silva was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Messi during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Messi. Cristiano Messi struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Marcelinho Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC. Edu Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Silva having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Durval Brito notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexilhão F. C.'s Marcelinho Matorin. Marcelinho Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Carlos Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mexilhão F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Campidelis couldn't finish the play.

With a little luck, ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Allan Silva got control of the ball when Edu Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualter Albuquerque lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexilhão F. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Marcelinho Matorin had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Luís Gustavo Leme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Durval Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Munhoz came free, but Marcelinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristiano Messi hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Mexilhão F. C.'s Olívio Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Durval Brito notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Mexilhão F. C.'s Marcelinho Matorin. Marcelinho Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Luís Gustavo Leme sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mexilhão F. C.'s Marcelinho Matorin didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Durval Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexilhão F. C. for a fine match.
