Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raul Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. Caco Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Narciso Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Família Ressaca MZ and the Botafogo AP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Azevedo. 9 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Gonçalves came free, but Gilmar de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Matos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Koehler during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Simão Koehler got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Raul Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Família Ressaca MZ's Raul Gonçalves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilmar de Mendonça. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Celsinho Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gilmar de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Botafogo AP got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Vander. João Augusto Paraibano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilmar de Mendonça. Botafogo AP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raul Gonçalves had several of the Botafogo AP's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Gilmar de Mendonça as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 44th minute, Simão Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Raul Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caco Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilmar de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Família Ressaca MZ's Celsinho Vidal. But to his dismay, Celsinho Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Durval de Medeiros hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Júlio Santana replaced Maicon Veiga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Gonçalves in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilmar de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Artur Passos replaced Sílvio de Barros. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Gonçalves in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar de Mendonça saved Botafogo AP from getting behind. In the 94th minute Caco Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
