Laerte Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The wind increased when Paulão Veiga made the kick off in the second half. If Paulão Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinei Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Corrêa in the 60th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Valdir Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrossel Caipira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TIMETER EC -DMZ- the free kick. In the 71st minute, César da Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinei Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 86 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério de Mendonça came free, but Dinei Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato de Lima to maneuver through the defense. If Jonathan Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Queiroz in the 92nd minute of the match. Dinei Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TIMETER EC -DMZ- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
