The coaching staff of Hartmann Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aníbal Breckenfeld had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Hartmann Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Three Lions FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Three Lions FC's Bernardo Leal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cesinha Tande. In the 8th minute, Lúcio de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Álvaro Proença 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Proença in the 12th minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Cesinha Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Three Lions FC's Cesinha Tande threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Álvaro Proença, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th minute Álvaro Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Wilian Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Lions FC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Wilian Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio de Queiroz took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Pirani. Ricardinho Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 36th minute of the match, Rafael de Godoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cesinha Tande was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 43 played minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Sanches. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Sanches to make the kick off. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael de Godoi in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Hartmann Futebol Clube defense, Álvaro Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha Tande. The Hartmann Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha Tande should have stopped the shot. Cesinha Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Leal in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Gonçalves in the 60th minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Cesinha Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Mathias Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Marques hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Rafael de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hartmann Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hartmann Futebol Clube! In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Three Lions FC. Bernardo Leal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cesinha Tande. 4-1. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Gonçalves in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Benjamim Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Three Lions FC were the better team. Three Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
