The audience thought a goal was coming when Neymar Santos got free with Dalmo Félix in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Edgard Leme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ were furious when Tiago Gabriel Peres was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Juan Azevedo had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Edgard Leme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonas Silva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nova Erechim - FSCMZ booed when Unidade Pinto Louco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Neymar Santos tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Pinho came free, but Dalmo Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Umberto Aparecido notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Juan Azevedo. Juan Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmo Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Silva in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Leme in the 41st minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Juan Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tony Custódio hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Rogério Fontes put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Unidade Pinto Louco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! After 60 played minutes Unidade Pinto Louco got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Capixaba. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neymar Santos in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmo Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Juan Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Erechim - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Umberto Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Unidade Pinto Louco's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar Santos came free, but Dalmo Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neymar Santos in the 76th minute of play. Unidade Pinto Louco's Dalmo Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Silva in the 79th minute of play. Neymar Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neymar Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 87 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Aparecido came free, but Juan Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo Félix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neymar Santos went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
