Zé Paulo Esteves started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, César Brito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande. Cesinha Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Hartmann Futebol Clube booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Richard Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Rocha. Futbol Club RRFV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 10th minute, Celsinho Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hartmann Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lúcio de Queiroz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Futbol Club RRFV's Egídio Dracena made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesinha Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesinha Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Esteves in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Hartmann Futebol Clube booed when Futbol Club RRFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celsinho Sanches hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cesinha Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Hartmann Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Dracena came free, but Cesinha Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Zé Paulo Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Cesinha Tande. Hartmann Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 38th minute César Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Dracena in the 45th minute of play. Zé Paulo Esteves took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha Tande. Cesinha Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celsinho Sanches was the one to do the kick off. Cesinha Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Tomé Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club RRFV and the Hartmann Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Tomé Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Hartmann Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Sanches to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Zé Paulo Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futbol Club RRFV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Esteves in the 82nd minute of play. The Hartmann Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Futbol Club RRFV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
