Marlon Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Marlon Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes Zé Paulo Esteves rounded Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Chaves to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Juan Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egídio Dracena. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zé Paulo Esteves hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Murillo Chaves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Rocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zé Paulo Esteves hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Zé Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamim Vargas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Neymar Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Rocha having to interfere. With a little luck, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Juan Azevedo got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Neymar Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Pinho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Rocha came out and tried to block the shot, but Sílvio Luís Pinho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 69th minute. Benjamim Vargas took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Rocha. Zé Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After having played for 76 minutes, Neymar Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neymar Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiaguinho Lucas's late challenge caught a Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Lucas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luís Pinho got free with Zé Rocha in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neymar Santos struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Zé Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Erechim - FSCMZ. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Zé Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
