In the 2nd match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Leal scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulo da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zézinho Lopez hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Alessandro Soeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Neuer skillfully saved the ball. In the 14th minute of the game Zézinho Lopez made a throw-in which Bernardo Leal played forward. Luís Paulo da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, OxentePaisa Salcity's Júnior Sergipano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Neuer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Douglas Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Three Lions FC and the OxentePaisa Salcity players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Douglas Duarte got a free kick in the 24th minute. OxentePaisa Salcity's Júnior Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael de Godoi got free with Luís Paulo da Silveira in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Kléberson Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Marquez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes OxentePaisa Salcity got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Soeiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto Brodel got free with Luís Paulo da Silveira in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Three Lions FC's Luís Paulo da Silveira threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathias Gonçalves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luís Paulo da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in OxentePaisa Salcity's zone, Mathias Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo da Silveira came out of the goal and Mathias Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Zézinho Lopez made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ricardinho Pirani. Luís Paulo da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. George Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OxentePaisa Salcity's Luís Paulo da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael de Godoi in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Zézinho Lopez threw the ball into play from the sideline. OxentePaisa Salcity's Tiago Dante quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luís Paulo da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Neuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. OxentePaisa Salcity's Tiago Dante managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zézinho Lopez in the 69 minute of the game. Luís Paulo da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael de Godoi in the 73rd minute of play. Bernardo Leal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Álvaro Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Paulo da Silveira was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After having played for 89 minutes, Frederico Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OxentePaisa Salcity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Rafael de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Luís Paulo da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Three Lions FC had won after a very even match.
