Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Pedro Luiz Donato started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Júnior Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Gilson Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Silvério de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Luís Eduardo Pontes managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Macaco F.C.'s Silvério de Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flávio Dante took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Pinho. Geovanni Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luiz Donato in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Jonathan Paraibano got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, WAU team's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério de Mendonça. Felipe Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Pontes having to make a save. The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvério de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, WAU team's Pedro Luiz Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luís Eduardo Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério de Mendonça in the 34th minute of play. Silvério de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Pontes having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Felipe Lopes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Eduardo Pontes. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half WAU team were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvério de Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior Vidal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luís Eduardo Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério de Mendonça in the 76th minute of the match. Geovanni Pinho made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Pedro Luiz Donato sent off a good shot on target. Geovanni Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Vidal in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Recife. Thomás Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, WAU team's Otávio Quintal made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Glauco Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaco F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WAU team the free kick. In the 91st minute, Glauco Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Pedrão Recife got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. WAU team walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
