Márcio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Souto in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes, Perivaldo Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmeiras and the Bitelon FC - SAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Márcio Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Freitas made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Franklin Baptista sent off a good shot on target. After 12 minutes of play, Palmeiras's Téo Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustão Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustão Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Ronaldinho Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute, Hélio Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes, Bitelon FC - SAF's Valdomiro Penha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Márcio Freitas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bitelon FC - SAF reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademir Senna during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ademir Senna hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Soeiro came free, but Márcio Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 29th minute of the match Ademir Senna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ademir Senna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ademir Senna hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Faustão Prado came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras's Téo Trancoso. But to his dismay, Téo Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Bruninho Quadros got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Palmeiras's Téo Trancoso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustão Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustão Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Téo Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Faustão Prado managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Palmeiras's Téo Trancoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Bitelon FC - SAF booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Fiori Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Palmeiras defense, Fiori Souto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márcio Freitas. The Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márcio Freitas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Araújo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Bitelon FC - SAF defense, Téo Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão Prado. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão Prado should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Bitelon FC - SAF's Franklin Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Palmeiras's Márcio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Souto in the 80th minute of play. Perivaldo Maciel was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Márcio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Souto in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Ronaldinho Cosme got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmeiras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
