The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Richard Dionísio put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Master Champion BMX Flat:s goal. Thanks to some nice moves Bernardinho Borges could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Dário Rodrigues however easily saved by the left post. Faustão Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Pereira having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardinho Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Master Champion BMX Flat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Silva to maneuver through the defense. Beto Barral, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Bernardinho Borges got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Tiaguinho Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Master Champion BMX Flat and the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dário Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Borges in the 76th minute of the match. When Tiaguinho Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Zonta couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the game, Roger Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Master Champion BMX Flat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร the free kick. In the 94th minute, Roger Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Borges in the 95th minute of play forced Master Champion BMX Flat's goalkeeper Dário Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
