Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Eduardo Netto started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Sérgio Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Nestor Quintal managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Microsoft Team's Luiz Eduardo Netto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Rodrigues in the 16th minute of play. Dorian Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorian Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Raphael Pinheiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorian Catarinense was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 28th minute of the match Independente FC got a corner. Microsoft Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedito Trancoso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nestor Quintal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Pinheiro in the 32nd minute of play. José Vítor Rodrigues took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Benedito Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Catarinense having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Esteves during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Esteves. Nestor Quintal came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Microsoft Team's Luan Pontes. But to his dismay, Luan Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Independente FC's José Vítor Rodrigues in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Microsoft Team's goalie prevented a goal. Independente FC were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Microsoft Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedito Trancoso took the corner. Zé Carlos de Azevedo made a great header on Independente FC's corner, it was just that Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos de Azevedo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos de Azevedo lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 59th minute of play. Nestor Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lopes in the 60th minute of play. José Vítor Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Dorian Catarinense made a huge save. The Independente FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos de Azevedo notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Pinheiro. In the 78th minute, Zé Carlos de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Dorian Catarinense managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Independente FC's José Vítor Rodrigues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute Independente FC were awarded a corner. Benedito Trancoso went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Independente FC's Benedito Trancoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Dorian Catarinense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 97th minute, Jonas Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Microsoft Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independente FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
