In the 18th minute Luiz Eduardo Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Morro Grande E.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Microsoft Team were winning 1-3.

In the 52nd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Furtado to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Morro Grande E.C's Reynaldo Tepedino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The Microsoft Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Microsoft Team played a much better game than Morro Grande E.C and deserved their victory. The Morro Grande E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
