Jean Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Minotauro's Severino Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zemantauskas FC's attentive Rubens Reis managed to snatch the ball when Donato Terra made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Almir Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Guerra in the 20th minute of play. When Téo Luz fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zemantauskas FC's protests and gave Téo Luz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Luz to maneuver through the defense. Jean Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Veiga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Minotauro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zemantauskas FC:s goal.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Palmeira during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Cleiton Xavier got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Amílton Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Paraíba. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílton Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Almir Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Eger in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Hermínio das Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Almir Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Almir Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Zemantauskas FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Minotauro's much stronger midfield.
