Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Murillo Bittencourt kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Flores da Cunha - RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Rodrigo de Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrão Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo de Carvalho in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Flores da Cunha - RS were awarded a corner. José Pedro Paranaense went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in José Pedro Paranaense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abutres 2003 FDP's Pedrão Lopez did a great save. After some careless play in the Flores da Cunha - RS defense, Murillo Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Neiva. The Flores da Cunha - RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Neiva should have stopped the shot. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Pirani in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Flores da Cunha - RS defense, Dráuzio Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Neiva. The Flores da Cunha - RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Neiva should have stopped the shot. Marco Gonçalves came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedrão Lopez could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Pirani in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Flores da Cunha - RS getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. José Pedro Paranaense hit a great ball. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Mandrak in the 37th minute of play. Marco Gonçalves hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Rômulo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Ronaldão Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Bittencourt in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Gonçalves to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Abutres 2003 FDP's Fausto Pirani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rômulo Neiva. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. When Tostão Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flores da Cunha - RS's protests and gave Tostão Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Flores da Cunha - RS's Rômulo Neiva got control of the ball when Murillo Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rômulo Neiva made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Murillo Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Bernardo Teixeira took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Rômulo Neiva to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo Neiva having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Pirani in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Valle. In the 73rd play minute Murillo Bittencourt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rômulo Neiva. 0-7. Flores da Cunha - RS's attentive Gerson Koehler managed to snatch the ball when Adalberto Mandrak made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Gonçalves in the 87th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Pedrão Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Flores da Cunha - RS's Rodrigo de Carvalho got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 95 minutes, Júlio Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flores da Cunha - RS and the Abutres 2003 FDP players grew even worse after the yellow card.
