A collision led to Encanto getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Noel Sampaio hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Marco Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flores da Cunha - RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Flores da Cunha - RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luiz Pinheiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Passos came free, but Rômulo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Encanto booed when Flores da Cunha - RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flores da Cunha - RS's zone, Nico Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal and Nico Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes in the game José Pedro Paranaense did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tostão Vidal. Rômulo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Moreira in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, Celso Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseu Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Gonçalves in the 54th minute of play. When Nico Passos came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Encanto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Passos couldn't finish the play. Noel Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rômulo Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Encanto's Erik Moreira in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flores da Cunha - RS's goalie prevented a goal. If Sílvio Luiz Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Rômulo Neiva managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Encanto's Erik Moreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Flores da Cunha - RS's Ernani Motta got a free kick in the 85th minute. Erik Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Neiva made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nico Passos sent off a good shot on target. The Flores da Cunha - RS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Encanto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
