A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Diego Proença hit a great ball. Carlos Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Manfredo de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mochila FC the free kick. Frederico Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Proença in the 14th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Mochila FC's Nildo Barral made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when Tenha Dó Dó Dó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Vasconcelos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. Dorian Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
